What a lovely experience!. Tucked away is a beautiful medieval castle with out buildings which have been tastefully and comfortably restored for guests. Delicious breakfast with bread, jam, eggs and cheese provided for an extra amount. Hosts were incredibly responsive and have excellent suggestions for things to do in the surrounding area. We highly recommend. |

In september met zijn tweetjes helaas maar 1 overnachting kunnen boeken omdat het vol zat. We werden gastvrij onthaald door Jitske en onze 1e indruk was zeer welkom gevoel.
Mattew gaf ons een rondleiding en zo zaten we ineens op een sfeervolle nostalgisch kamer uitkijkend op het chateau, het was perfect!
De volgende ochtend stond er een lekker frans ontbijt voor ons klaar in de gezamelijke sfeervolle ontbijtruimte. Je kon hier ook spulletjes uit het chateau zien staan en deze waren ook te koop.
Wat een leuke toevoeging!
We werden weer vriendelijk uitgezwaaid en onze gezamelijke liefde voor Brocante werd gezellig besproken. Met een tip voor een Brocante markt die dag vertrokken we met een zeer fijn gevoel uit Chateau de Digione. Een prachtig landgoed hebben Jitske en Mattew hier neergezet!!!

A very special place to stay. They went out of their way to be welcoming and helped provide some food, as local restaurants would have been difficult to find that were open so late that evening.
Incredible abandoned castle in the grounds. Good to meet other people staying there and chat by the wood burner in a warm space. Lovely accommodation and it was interesting to hear the history and their experiences and to see the other places to stay there. Always good to see a cat and t see the horses too. |

Wunderschönes anwesen mit sehr netten gastgebern. Wurden zu beginn sehr freundlich von den gastgebern und dem sussen Hund ´Olli´ begrusst.
Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das frühstück war sehr lecker. Können die unterkunft sehr empfehlen-
wir kommen gerne wieder :) |

Matthew and Jitske´s place was among one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at. They were very communicative and hospitable and everything went smoothly. The property consist of a few historic structures that have been tastefully renovated into modern accommodations. Matthew and Jitske were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and happy. I highly recommend the optional breakfast to get a taste of the local cuisine ( cheese, bread etc) and a large fridge full of drinks are available for a small additional charge in the common area. |
